Xiaoliuqiu, the general name of the independent island "Ryukyu Island", has an area of only 6.8 square kilometers and a coastline of about 12 kilometers. It is located on the sea southwest of Donggang Township, Pingtung County, southern Taiwan. It takes only half an hour to reach by boat from Donggang. Xiaoliuqiu is a coral reef island off the coast of Taiwan. It is rich in tourism resources and is not affected by the northeast monsoon. It is suitable for tourism in all four seasons. In 2000, it was included in the jurisdiction of Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area.

Attractions:
1.Vase stone:
The vase stone is the most famous attraction on Xiaoliuqiu Island. The reason for its formation is that the original coastal coral reef was lifted by the crust uplift, and then the neck was subjected to long-term seawater erosion, so it formed a special shape similar to a vase. The top of the upper rock is covered with plants such as stinky lady and box fruit vines, like a vase with flowers and plants, so it is named "vase stone".

2. Box net farming:
Xiaoliuqiu is very suitable for box net farming. Surrounded by two Pacific black tides around the island, coupled with the natural conditions of clean seawater, it has become the main focus of export to Japan in recent years. The fish raised in it include red sweet, sea scorpion, grouper, etc. Because the raising method is different from the traditional method, it has become one of the important bases for sightseeing in Xiaoliuqiu.
3. Xiaoliuqiu White Lighthouse:
The entire tower of the Xiaoliuqiu White Lighthouse is made of concrete circular white, with a height of 10 meters from the base to the top of the tower, and a height of 88 meters from the horizontal plane to the top of the tower. It is the fourth-class flash (two seconds every two seconds). One, flash once), its luminosity range can reach 20 miles, bright as day, flashing by itself day and night, it is an international lighthouse.
4Venice Beach:
The coast of Xiaoliuqiu is mainly erosive coral reefs, and there are only a few sandy shores that belong to the accumulation terrain. 5. Baisha Sightseeing Port:
Baisha Sightseeing Port is the main port for tourists to enter and exit. It is close to the beautiful beaches of China and Australia. It is of great recreational value. The tourist service center in the port area, in addition to providing transportation boats, also has sea island boats and submarine semi-shallow boats. 6. Wugui Cave:
The cave has been legendary since ancient times. According to legend, in the fifteenth year of the Ming Dynasty’s Yongli period, Zheng Chenggong, king of Yanping County, the survivor of the Ming Dynasty, restored Taiwan to Penghu and drove away the Dutch. A few black slaves were abandoned here and lived in the cave. It is dark, and the depth is unknown. It is said that in the Qing Dynasty, the stone tables, chairs, stone beds, stone bowls and other utensils are still available. Silverware and jewelry are also found from time to time. Unfortunately, the cave entrance has collapsed and cannot be entered.
Xiaoliuqiu Tourist Attractions-Lobster Cave
On the coral reef coast of the Lobster Cave to the northeast of Ryukyu Island, there are many small potholes and sea erosion ditches. The pot hole belongs to the Haicheng pot hole, the mouth of the pot is round, and the bottom becomes very flat due to the dissolution and reprecipitation. The sea ditch of Lobster Cave is wide and deep in appearance and very developed. Whenever the waves enter the ditch, the tide sounds like a roar, quite spectacular.
